Kinross 4ply

shade:

From Wee County Yarns, Kinross 4ply is 100% lambswool from Geelong sheep - extra fine merino - sourced from certified non-mulesed flocks from South Africa and Australia.

Kinross 4ply is spun by Todd and Duncan, on the shores of Loch Leven at Kinross.

The yarn is hanked directly from the cone without being scoured. It feels crispy soft at first (and is lovely to work with) but when washed it blooms and softens beautifully and feels almost like cashmere.

The yarn has a rounded texture and excellent stitch definition making it perfect for colourwork, lace or cables.
